Race

A very close Mexican GP ended wit the third win of Michal Janak in the X-Mas break races. Unlike the GPs at Monaco and Montreal, nobody was able to build up a significant lead over the other drivers and some of the gap at the finish line are said to be the closest finishes ever. From the front runners, Alan Strang is probably the driver who lost the most: starting from pole, he stayed close to the drivers that finshed on the podium, until he had an accident in lap 63. The necessary stop costed Alan at least four positions.

Three won races and good showings in qualifying should mean that Michal has taken the lead from Oliver in the drivers' standings, when the IAF1GPC administration comes up with the official standings later on.
